Dr. Margot Stricker
Dr. Margot Stricker joined Healthy Expectations in September of 2019. She is a Fort Wayne native and graduate of South Side High School. She studied various aspects of the humanities including creative arts, literature, and women’s studies, graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from Indiana University Southeast. Margot also completed a 200 hour Vinyasa yoga teacher training while living in Oakland, California, where she fell in love and married her husband. After starting a family and moving back to Fort Wayne, Margot attended Trine University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Margot’s interest in pelvic floor physical therapy began during her first pregnancy as she began learning about the anatomy and function of the pelvic floor, as well as conditions that can be treated with PT. Margot is passionate about conservative treatments including physical therapy, nutrition, and behavior modification to reduce patients’ risks for invasive procedures and medications. When she is not working, Margot enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, reading, volunteering in her neighborhood, volunteering with Girl Scouts, and with Fort Wayne Derby Girls.
